A man was found fatally shot outside a Miami apartment complex Wednesday, police said.
The man appeared to be in his 20s, police spokeswoman Kenia Reyes said. He was found in the 1100 block of Northwest Eighth Street Road, she said.
After reports of the shooting came in, paramedics rushed to the scene, where the man died.
Police are investigating. They said a four-door, gray vehicle was involved.

Now I bet my very life that this man was Black. How do I know this?
First, take a look at the article itself. It is very short, very little detail, no shock value. The article is almost casual in telling the story of a man that lost his life. It appears from the story that the life of this man was devalued.
Now I dare anyone to prove me wrong. It is impossible. We have become so accustom to Blacks dying that it is barely news anymore. It is just reported because it is required to be, but the story itself is given no genuine attention. No real details.
Why?
Because Black people kill each other almost, if not, daily. We have no value for our own lives so why should anybody else, is the general feelings. If Black people can not control their own emotions, and speak their feelings as opposed to acting upon them, the blood baths will continue. And who cares?
No one here in South Florida, or should I say "not many".
I know that this is Christmas eve, as I am only sharing with you what is going on in my very face. I can not ignore it as though it is NOT happening because it is. Black life in South Florida is probably considered worth less than an animal. say a dog or a cat. Well, let me take that back. A dog or cat's life is probably worth more.
Moreover, I hope your holiday is everything you expect it to be, and more. I pray and hope that the story above is not an indication of what we can expect in 2010. However, I believe that it is a sign of things forthcoming.
Pray for Black people. We need all of the prayers, and good wishes that we can get. But most importantly, we need action. We need a change in thinking.(mindset). We need leadership. We need real men. We need love. We need each other.
We are a sad people. But who really cares right? Just read the story again above, and you tell me who cares.
Happy holidays.
